We caught up with Logan and Brandyn two members of the admin team for Lakeway Car Enthusiasts. They have seen wildly popular success hosting a weekly meet in town at the site of our very own local speed shop. The Jerry’s meets have been a weekly breath of fresh air for so many of us, and events like this address the elephant in the room that many automotive communities have been seeing. Based on the support they have received with local meets, they teamed up with another local automotive icon. In conjunction with local family owned drag strip Cherokee Race Park in Rogersville, TN to host an event for enthusiasts to park and chill, but also provide a controlled environment for those to let loose on the track. The rain may have scared off a few people from coming out, but this tight knit group is on the right track. We predict this turning into a premiere event for East Tennessee automotive enthusiasts.
